Enshi Scenery
This research explores contemporary Chinese artists and their artistic engagement with the natural environment, art industry, and local context in Enshi, China. It investigates how Chinese painting artists are influenced by Enshi landscapes when they paint from nature during their field trips.

We used visual ethnographic research to make this creative influential process more visible to the public audience, showcasing how these mesmerizing landscapes captivated contemporary Chinese artists and inspired them to create innovative Chinese paintings that contribute to both academic aesthetic exploration and the art commercial industry.

After the field trip, I designed an exhibition, showcasing artists' works through a series of creative presentations and other souvenir designs, such as art book, brochures, and a complete set of exhibition VI materials.

The local government recognizes the potential of these artworks as a creative medium for promoting local cultural heritage, which I plan to explore further.
